Andre is an independent photojournalist recently based in Bangkok, Thailand. From June 2013 - 2016 he lived in Myanmar, and worked to establish an in-depth knowledge of the social, political, economic and humanitarian topics that affected the general population, often turning his lens towards those on the fringes of history, photographing their subtle yet important stories. His preference is towards making images that demonstrate an appreciation for the complexity of even the quietest moments, be it for short or long form projects.

His work has been published internationally in print and online at: Time.com, BBC, Al Jazeera America, Foreign Policy Magazine, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Global Post, Pro Photographer Magazine, among others. He has collaborated with various NGOs including Save The Children International, Natural Resource Governance Institute, Médecins Sans Frontières and WORTH, producing both still images and multimedia projects.
